Privacy policy

We cannot see your data. Nobody can.

The PinTrax app was built without an account system, cloud database, analytics layer, or advertising tracker. Your records stay on your phone. This website is a separate system and does use analytics, explained in section 04.

Last updated: August 24, 2026
The short version

We never store your injection data. Not on our servers, because the app doesn't use any. Everything you enter into PinTrax lives on your phone and nowhere else. We cannot see it, sell it, leak it, or hand it over, because we never possess it.

That's the whole policy. The rest of this page explains it in the detail the law expects.

01

What PinTrax collects

Nothing.

PinTrax has no user accounts, no login, no signup, and no backend server. The app does not transmit your entries anywhere. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter that reads your content, no advertising identifier, and no tracking of any kind inside the app.

02

Where your data lives

Every injection log, compound, vial record, journal entry, and metric you enter is stored in a local database on your device. It stays there until you delete it or delete the app.

This design has a consequence you should understand: we cannot recover your data. If your phone is lost, broken, or reset, your PinTrax data goes with it unless you have made a backup using the app's export feature. Backups are files you create and keep. We never receive a copy.

03

Purchases

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made, in aggregate, through the standard store dashboards. We do not receive your name, email, payment details, or anything about how you use the app. Apple and Google's own privacy policies govern the transaction itself.

04

The website, analytics, and newsletter

The website and the optional email newsletter are separate systems from the app. Nothing here connects to your injection records, which never leave your phone. Two things happen on this side: we measure website visits, and we hold an email address if you subscribe to the newsletter.

Who is responsible. PinTrax is operated by Identiblock LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States. For anything relating to your data, write to support@pintrax.app. We answer every one.

Website analytics. This website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets cookies in your browser and sends usage data, including a truncated IP address, to Google in the United States. It runs on this website only. It is not in the app, and it has no way to see anything you enter in the app, because that data never leaves your phone. If you would rather not be counted, any browser-level ad or tracker blocker stops it, as does Google's own opt-out add-on.

The newsletter. Your email address, used to send you the newsletter and for nothing else. We never sell it, rent it, or share it for advertising. Open tracking and click tracking are switched off, so we do not know whether you opened an issue or what you clicked.

Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you subscribe. You can withdraw it at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any issue, which takes one click and needs no explanation. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we sent before.

Who processes it. The newsletter runs on Buttondown, which acts as our processor and stores subscriber records on servers in the United States. Website analytics are processed by Google. No other third party receives anything.

How long we keep it. Until you unsubscribe, after which the record is removed.

Your rights. Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it erased, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format. Write to support@pintrax.app and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the data protection authority in your own country.

None of this touches the app. There is no way for us to connect a newsletter subscriber to an app user, because the app has no users in the sense that would make that possible.

05

Permissions

PinTrax requests only the permissions its features need, and every one of them is optional except local storage.

Local storage. Required. This is where your records live.

Notifications. Only if you turn on reminders. Reminders are scheduled on your device by the operating system and are never sent from a server.

Camera and photos. Only if you add a progress photo to a journal entry. Photos are saved in the app's private storage on your device, are not written to your camera roll or photo gallery, and are never uploaded. Deleting the entry deletes the photo.

Biometrics. Only if you turn on the app lock. Your fingerprint or face is handled entirely by your device's operating system. PinTrax never receives it.

No permission grants us access to your data, because there is nowhere for that data to go.

06

Children

PinTrax is not intended for anyone under 18.

07

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Given the architecture, meaningful change is unlikely: an app with no server has very few ways to start collecting data quietly, and we intend to keep it that way.
