KLOW blend reconstitution calculator

Enter your vial amount, the bacteriostatic water you add and a dose, and this page gives the concentration and the units to draw on your syringe. It runs entirely in your browser: nothing you type is sent anywhere, and nothing is saved.

The four rows start empty with the placeholder amounts 50 mg, 10 mg, 10 mg, 10 mg shown in grey. Those are placeholders from the PinTrax app's blend template, not a statement of what a KLOW vial contains: labels vary, so enter each component's mg from your own vial's label.

Blend components

Components share the one volume of bacteriostatic water above. The dose you entered applies to the component you select; the others follow from the same draw.

The maths for a KLOW blend

Three steps, the same as the main calculator: concentration is the vial content divided by the volume of bacteriostatic water, in mg per ml; the volume to draw is your dose in mg divided by that concentration; and the units to draw are that volume multiplied by your syringe's units per ml.

KLOW is a four-component blend; enter each component's mg from your own vial's label. This worked example uses placeholder amounts of 50 mg, 10 mg, 10 mg, 10 mg for components 1 to 4, one shared volume of 2 ml of bacteriostatic water, and a target of 1 mg of component 1. The placeholders, the water volume and the 1 mg target are arithmetic illustrations, not suggestions.

Component 1 concentration50 mg ÷ 2 ml = 25 mg/ml
Volume to draw for 1 mg of component 11 mg ÷ 25 mg/ml = 0.04 ml
U-100 syringe4 units
U-50 syringe2 units
U-40 syringe1.6 units
That draw delivers of component 2 (10 mg placeholder)0.04 ml × 5 mg/ml = 0.2 mg
That draw delivers of component 3 (10 mg placeholder)0.04 ml × 5 mg/ml = 0.2 mg
That draw delivers of component 4 (10 mg placeholder)0.04 ml × 5 mg/ml = 0.2 mg

How many doses in a vial

A vial holds its label amount divided by the dose, counted in whole doses; the water volume does not change the count. The doses in this table are arithmetic illustrations, not suggestions.

Reading the syringe

Syringe markings are units, not millilitres, and the conversion depends on which syringe you own. A U-100 syringe has 100 units per ml, so one unit is 0.01 ml. A U-50 has 50 units per ml and a U-40 has 40, so the same volume reads as a different number on each. This is why a dose must always be converted against the syringe actually in your hand, and why the syringe selector above changes the answer.

Questions

How do I calculate a KLOW blend dose?

With placeholder amounts of 50 mg for component 1 in 2 ml of water, 1 mg of component 1 is 0.04 ml, or 4 units on a U-100 syringe: divide the target by that component's concentration, then multiply by your syringe's units per ml. Every other component comes along in the same draw, in proportion to its mg on the label.

How much bac water for a KLOW vial?

With 2 ml of bacteriostatic water and a placeholder component 1 of 50 mg, that component is 25 mg/ml and 1 mg of it reads as 4 units on a U-100 syringe. There is no single correct volume: water changes how many units you draw, not how much of each component the vial holds.

What does one draw of a KLOW blend deliver of each peptide?

With placeholder amounts of 50, 10, 10, 10 mg, a draw that delivers 1 mg of component 1 delivers 0.2 mg of each of the other three. The ratio comes from the label amounts alone, so enter each component's mg from your own vial's label to get your numbers.

Reverse mode and blend mode are on the main calculator. The PinTrax app saves the vial and tracks what is left as you log doses.
